Anthropology concerns how we as humans understand ourselves, and how we interact with and understand other human beings and our surroundings.
These are core competencies in a world which is becoming increasingly complex and globalised.

 In the course of your studies, you will gain insight into the many ways human beings organise and live their lives around the world. On this basis you will be presented to a variety of tools that will allow you to adopt a comparative perspective and analytical approach to many of the world’s current issues and challenges. You will be expected to apply these tools by carrying out ethnographic fieldwork in a location and on contemporary topic of your own choice.

Anthropology is a discipline that combines scientific traditions from the humanities and the social sciences.
