Ethnography and Archaeology

This year's summer schools offer an intensive and challenging experience in the academic fields of archaeology and ethnography.The multinational environment brings together students and staff from different countries in Europe and abroad. Hence the course gives students from all over the world the opportunity not only to broaden the understanding of their subjects but also to participate in a vibrant and international milieu. 

Viking and Old Norse Studies  

The interdisciplinary Viking and Old Norse Studies at The University of Aarhus - who is responsible for e.g. The summer school Viking Age Scandinavia - is coordinated by the Centre for Viking and Medieval Studies. In addition to several summer schools, Viking and Old Norse Studies offer courses at MA level during terms. The programme of MA courses is coordinated in collaboration between the Departments of History, Medieval- and Renaissance Archaeology, Nordic Studies, Prehistoric Archaeology and Study of Religion.
